Just wanted to chime in on the CPD discussion. I’ve recently completed a few healthcare-related courses through MedicPro International Academy, which are CPD accredited. From what I understand, CPD accreditation mainly ensures that the course content meets certain professional standards—like relevance, structure, and learning outcomes—but it’s not the same as academic accreditation from a university or government-recognised body.
In my case, I wasn’t looking for a formal degree but more for something that could add to my existing qualifications and help with ongoing training requirements. The course I took was well-structured and covered the topics I needed, but I went into it knowing it wouldn’t hold the same weight as, say, an MSc from a university.
It might be helpful for others considering CPD programs to keep that distinction in mind. These kinds of courses can be useful if you're already working in the field and just need to top up your knowledge or meet CPD hours. But if someone’s aiming for formal credentials or career changes that require university recognition, it’s probably better to look at degree-granting institutions.
