Scoot Airlines CAI Terminal, was opened in 1986 and has lately seen major upgrades, is mostly used by European, Gulf, and East Asian carriers. Cairo International Airport's status as a regional hub is strengthened with the addition of an air bridge that connects the renovated Terminal 2 to Terminal 3.
