After the first day of the free agent signing period, many of the top players are gone, as is often the case. General managers that had the cap room to spare were aggre sive on the market snapping up several of the top talents available, most for completely reasonable salaries considering what weve seen before in free agency. So whos left? Lets take a look.On Day 2, options become limited for the top players as teams on their wish lists may have already filled needs. Thats especially true of the defensemen after multiple blueliners took home some nice paydays already. The top of the forward crop has already been picked over as well. Landing an impact forward was always going to be hard in this market, but the teams that failed to move Wednesday are left looking to restock depth or they Lou Williams Jersey can start exploring the trade market more aggre sively.Heres a look at the best of the rest when it comes to unrestricted free agents. 1. Christian Ehrhoff Coming off of an injury-filled season with the , Ehrhoffs market value may have taken a hit, however after seeing the deals and got, Ehrhoff probably gets in that $4-5 million ball park. Hell turn 33 Monday, but still provides value as an experienced two-way blueliner. He never really got a chance to get Nicolas Batum Jersey going in Pittsburgh.2. Cody Franson His lackluster tenure with the at the end of last season makes it easy to forget that Franson had 36 points in 78 games in 2014-15. Hell be 28 late this summer, has really good two-way value and is one of those widely-coveted right-shot defensemen. Teams that have openings in that position should be taking a good, long look, though Franson may be wise to wait out teams that were late to the party adding defense for the best po sible deal.3. Martin St. Louis At 40 years old, the market is probably already pretty small for St. Louis. His 52 points last season made for the lowest total of his career since an injury-shortened 2001-02 season, but its still 52 points the most of any unrestricted free agent on the market this year. It is believed that St. Louis wants to stay close to his Connecticut home, however. That probably narrows down his choices to the rebuilding and the with the no longer an option. If either teams want St. Louis, hes still got enough for a cheap deal and a more limited role. Update: 4. Joel Ward The deal may have quashed any notion that Ward was heading for an overpayment. That said, he has a longer track record of production than Beleskey and his rugged style is still a valued commodity. It is believed Ward is looking for a four-year deal, which may knock some teams out due to his being 34 years old. That said, he has a wealth of experience and scored 43 goals over the last two seasons.5. Johnny Oduya The No. 4 defenseman from the last two Stanley Cup teams should have a lot of value out there, but his postseason performance masked an otherwise lukewarm season for the veteran D. Reports Wednesday suggested that the Blackhawks are trying to find a way to bring him back as their D depth situation for next year Amir Coffey Jersey is pretty dire. Hed probably have to take a deep discount to stay, as there are still other teams with cap room to expend that may be able to make a more lucrative offer.6. Chris Stewart One of the more polarizing players on the market this year is Stewart. There are still those out there that believe he can be the prototypical power forward, but odds are that group is dwindling. He had 36 points last season between the and , and once he signs wherever he signs, it will be his fifth organization by age 27. The ship has probably sailed on Stewart ever becoming the guy that had 28 goals and 64 points for the in 2009-10. But that doesnt mean he cant be a solid depth winger that provides a little physicality and some secondary scoring. If the price is right, that is. 7. Jiri Tlusty Teams looking to add some center depth could do really well in nabbing Tlusty. The 27-year-old does have one 20-goal season under his belt and posted 31 points last season between the and . Put him in the right situation, probably on the third line, with some quality younger wingers and those numbers could go up.8. Tomas Fleischmann Daniel Oturu Jersey After struggling to crack the lineup in the playoffs, Fleischmanns value at this point in his career is diminishing, but that only creates a good value situation for teams in need of depth down the left side. Fleischmann had 27 points in 66 games last season and has two 20-goal seasons in his career. He wont produce like that again, but hes only 31.9. Curtis Glencro s Glencro s probably would like a raise from the $2.55 million AAV on his last contract, but he may be hard-pre sed to find one. After getting traded to the last year, it became pretty apparent that he was well-cast as a third-liner even though he was reportedly unhappy with a similar role in Calgary before the trade. Glencro s had JaMychal Green Jersey 35 points last season, but scored just one goal in 10 playoff games for the Caps. Hes still a good veteran forward for depth purposes. 10. Lee Stempniak After stints with four different teams over the last three seasons, Stempniak has this journeyman thing down. Hes often been a goal-scorer in his career and still can be. He had 15 goals in 71 games last season. If there are teams looking for a stop-gap veteran to provide some production on the wing, Stempniak should be a really cheap option.
