Hey folks,
I stumbled across a couple of interesting links recently that seem to focus on using technology to improve support and care services, and I’d love to get your thoughts on them.
The first is a GitHub repository here: https://github.com/Vetsandcare
It looks like an early-stage open-source project aimed at bringing care and support tools online. What I like about it is that it’s not overly complicated — just clean, minimal code focused on a purpose. It gives the impression that it's being built with real-world needs in mind, and the open-source approach makes it easy for anyone to contribute or suggest improvements. It’s great to see more socially-driven tech initiatives going online like this.
Then there’s a connected blog I found here: https://blog.rackons.in/profile/vetsandcare
If you want a little more background or context behind the GitHub project, this blog seems like a good place to start. There are some short posts offering insight into what the project is trying to do, and it feels like it's still evolving. I’d suggest you visit now and give it a skim — it’s always interesting to see how people use blogging to document their process and mission.
So, I’m wondering — has anyone here explored either of these links before? Do you think projects like this can actually make an impact, especially if they gain more visibility and contributors? I know a lot of us are developers, designers, or just curious tech folks — so I’m wondering if this is the kind of thing you’d support or even contribute to.
Let me know what you think!
