Hey East Nashville drivers,
I’ve been doing a lot of nighttime driving lately for gig work—mainly food delivery and rideshare—and I’m curious if anyone else noticed a spike in premiums because of it?

I’ve been doing a lot of nighttime driving lately for gig work—mainly food delivery and rideshare—and I’m curious if anyone else noticed a spike in premiums because of it?
From what I’ve seen and heard:
- Driving late at night is considered higher risk by most insurers.
- Some policies adjust rates based on driving times, especially if you’re on the road during hours with more accidents.
- If you’re doing rideshare or delivery, it may even require a different type of coverage.
Just wondering…
- Has anyone seen rate increases from night driving in East Nashville?
- Did switching insurers help?
- Is a commercial or gig endorsement really worth it?
